Returns and refunds

You have 30 days. From the day your order is delivered, you have 30 days to ask for a return.

How to start. WhatsApp 071 531 2901 or email martin@waterexperts.co.za with your order number. Please do not send anything back before we confirm the return. Parcels sent back without a confirmed return cannot be accepted.

Changed your mind

Return any unused item in its original packaging within 30 days and we refund the full item price.

You pay the return courier. We can arrange the JKJ Express collection for you and deduct the actual courier cost from your refund, or you can send it back with a courier of your choice.

Faulty, damaged in transit, or the wrong item

Tell us within 7 days of delivery and send a photo. We collect at our cost. You choose a replacement or a full refund, including the courier fee you paid.

If a product fails later, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to have defective goods repaired, replaced or refunded.

What cannot be returned for a change of mind

  • Cartridges, membranes, UV lamps and quartz sleeves that have been installed or have had water through them
  • Filter media, resin and salt once the bag has been opened
  • Anything cut, modified or damaged after delivery
  • Special orders brought in at your request

All of these are still covered if they arrive faulty, damaged or wrong.

Discounted items can be returned on the same terms as everything else.

Refunds

We inspect a return within 2 working days of receiving it and tell you the outcome. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 working days. If you paid by EFT, we refund by EFT to your bank account. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

The courier fee on your original order is refunded only where the item was faulty, damaged or wrong.

Exchanges

The quickest way is to return the item for a refund and place a new order for the one you want.

Your rights

Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
