Shipping, delivery and payment

1. Why is the courier charged separately on smaller orders?

  • Product prices and courier costs are shown separately so that a small order is not carrying a built-in delivery charge. Orders of R1 500 or more ship free to a standard address.

2. How much is the courier?

  • Courier is free on orders of R1 500 or more, door to door with JKJ Express, to a street address in a city, town or suburb anywhere in South Africa. Below R1 500 the checkout shows JKJ Express's rate for your address and parcels before you pay.
  • Free courier never applies to filter media, vessels and tanks, whatever the order value: they are heavy and bulky and ship at the quoted rate.
  • Farms, plots and game farms, rural and high-risk areas, chain stores, mines, embassies and power stations carry JKJ Express's surcharge for that kind of address, shown at checkout, and are never free.

3. What are my delivery options?

  • Economy, door to door. Johannesburg addresses are usually delivered the next working day, other major centres in 2 to 3 working days, regional areas in 4 to 5.
  • Overnight express, for parcels up to about 10 kg: at your door by 10:30 the next working day in major centres, 2 to 3 working days to regional areas. Offered at checkout at the difference on a free order and at the full rate otherwise.
  • A street address is needed; couriers do not deliver to PO boxes. We do not offer collection: everything ships.

4. Where do I get tracking information?

  • Once JKJ Express collects the parcel you receive an email with the waybill number and a link to their tracking page, jkjexpress.pperfect.com. Your order page on this site shows the same number.

5. When will my order be shipped and delivered?

  • Orders paid online through PayFast usually ship within 24 hours.
  • Orders paid by EFT ship once the payment reflects in our bank account.
  • Deliveries are made Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 to 17:00. No deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. A parcel collected on a Friday is delivered from the Monday.

6. What are my payment options?

  • Online payment through PayFast: Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT, SnapScan and Zapper.
  • EFT to Standard Bank, by arrangement.
