Vessel, valve and three bags of calcite. For water that eats copper.
A pH correction stage in one order: the 75 litre FRP vessel with its riser and distributors, a Runxin backwash valve (manual or automatic), and three 25 kg bags of calcite. Acidic borehole and rain water dissolves copper pipes and geyser elements; calcite dissolves into it instead and lifts the pH toward neutral.

Water below pH 6.8 is corrosive: blue-green stains, pinhole leaks, geyser elements that fail early. Passed up through a calcite bed, it takes on a little calcium and comes out between 7 and 7.5. The bed shrinks as it works, so it is topped up rather than replaced.
Where it goes
After the sediment stage and before a softener or a UV. It suits water from pH 6.0 up; below that, ask us before ordering and send the lab numbers.
Running it
Backwash every one to two weeks to lift the fines. Check the level every six months through the valve opening and add a bag when it has dropped 15 cm.
