Every cartridge on the AquaShield in one box: sediment, GAC, carbon block, the 100 GPD membrane, the inline post-carbon and the 4-in-1 re-mineraliser. Twenty minutes with the spanner from the original box and the system is back to day one.
When to buy this kit and when to buy the small one
The three pre-filters change every six months, the post-carbon and re-mineraliser every year, the membrane every two to three years. Most years, the pre-filter kit twice plus the two inline stages once is the right shopping list. The year the membrane is due, or the year you inherit a system with no service history, buy this kit and start the clock again.
Fitting, twenty minutes
The three housings as for the pre-filter kit. The membrane: unscrew the long horizontal housing, pull the old element with pliers, push the new one in O-ring end first. The two inline stages: push the tubes out, screw the new elbows in with the arrows pointing to the tap, push the tubes back. Run the first two tanks to the drain to flush the membrane preservative.
